Seamless Integration Enables LumaFusion Editors to Collaborate with Frame.io Media without Leaving the Mobile Editing App;

Significantly Elevates Collaborative Mobile Cinema Editing Workflow

Las Vegas, NV (April 8, 2019) – Luma Touch (www.luma-touch.com) today announced an integration partnership with the post-production industry’s leading collaborative review and approval platform, Frame.io (www.frame.io).

As a result of this integration, LumaFusion editors can now collaborate with Frame.io media without leaving the LumaFusion timeline, effectively creating a pure mobile cinema collaborative experience with the most feature-rich and widely adopted collaborative platform on the market.

Mobile Cinema Tech Collaborative Workflow

The integration between Frame.io and LumaFusion is comprehensive and extensive. By creating a seamless workflow between the two platforms, Luma Touch has eliminated the need to exit the LumaFusion timeline to review and respond to comments, mark in and out points in video sequences and share additional ideas with disparate teams and clients. All Frame.io media appears in the LumaFusion library, and without the need to download media to an iOS device. As a result, editors can now edit together a scene, add comments and send it back to Frame.io while only downloading the media needed directly to the device.

This integration also provides a significant time savings for content creators, giving them the opportunity to edit early, get feedback early, and find problems early. LumaFusion editors can even fix problems with the edit while still at the shoot location.

Pricing and Availability

The Frame.io integration will be available in LumaFusion v2.0 which will be available later this spring. It will be a free feature add-on for new and existing customers who have Frame.io accounts.
